It all started in 2008, when God brought me to Cleveland Ohio and got me connected to The Rock Community Church. At first, I was hardly excited about the city of Cleveland, and I certainly did not consider it to be my home. However, God did a substantial work in my heart and impressed me with a vision for revival and revitalization of the city - especially by reaching students and young adults for Christ!
In 2009, God led me to begin a Life Group of young adults and students at The Rock Community Church. We started out very small, but we faithfully met in my apartment, broke bread, and worshiped God together. We've seen enormous transformation in the lives of young men and women in our group, and God glorifies himself among us in new and exciting ways every week! Through the relationships that God has given me with these young men and women, I have been convinced that Cleveland is my mission field and my home.
God has blessed and grown our vision immensely, and today our group meets on campus at least once a week for worship, teaching, fellowship, discipleship, and accountability. By the grace of God, we plan to establish a large, healthy ministry at Cleveland State University with the goal of making sure that every young man and woman on campus has multiple opportunities to hear and receive the gospel!
As a campus missionary with Great Commission Ministries, and as the leader of this campus ministry for The Rock Community Church, it is my job to take responsibility before God for teaching and leading the group. I have been asked to lead through teaching, sharing the gospel, and spending time with students one-on-one.
I believe God has called me into this ripe mission field, and I am excited to reach campus for the gospel! With God, all things are possible!
